Loose Ephemera
The library no longer uses cards at the back of books to track check-outs, or small sheets of paper with date stamps.
Rejigs
I set off in a couple directions that didn’t go anywhere. Then I had a simple idea that worked out.

After years of doing erasure poetry, I only recently discovered that you can literally erase the print from some books.
The golden notebooks
I felt like a voyeur leafing through something so personal, but in a flimsy floral notebook, Raimond had pasted poems he choose from newspapers and magazines. Some clippings were still bunched together at the back of the book.
